Who Doesn't Love School Vacation?

This video has absolutely nothing to do with this post, but I couldn't help but share it because, well, I love cats and this one is adorable. Yep, this is why I never get anything done. I can't turn away from the cats!

Anyway, I'm very excited to share the wonderful news that my kids are now on April vacation. I know, not really exciting for you, but it is for me. This means several things for me:  

1. More sleep! Usually I am up by 7:30am and getting kids up and off to school. Now I can sleep as late as I want! Ok, maybe not as late as I want but till at least 10am. YES!!
2. More reading time! Sleeping in late means staying up late. That means more quiet time and more reading time. This is something that I need desperately because I am really behind on review books. So I've set a goal to read at least five books from now until Monday, the 29th.

The books I hope to read are:

Up first:

The Last Alignment by Nathaniel Stewart

I've already started this book and am hoping to finish it by tomorrow.

Up Next:

and at least three of these, in no particular order:

Love With a Chance of Drowning by Torre DeRoche

The Repeat Year by Andrea Lochen

I'll Be Seeing You by Suzanne Hayes and Loretta Nyhan

All These Lives by Sarah Wylie

Embryo 2: Crosshairs by J.A. Schneider

Double Click by Lisa Becker

Now what I would really love would be to make it through all of these books, plus maybe one or two more. But I'm pretty sure that if I gave myself a bigger goal, I'd just feel overwhelmed and then I'd get stressed out and never get through anything. So that's my plan. Wish me luck!
