Welcome to Week 21 of Weigh Me Wednesday: My Journey with Nutrisystem! As a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program member, I am on the Women's Diabetes Select Program!
Hooray for Wednesday! Only a few more days until the weekend, I am already counting them down. Why am I in a rush? Because next week is school vacation! I can't wait for the extra hour or two of sleep in the morning and more time to spend with my kids. I'm hoping to go for walks a few times over the week, as long as the weather cooperates. Anyway, let's get down to business. I lost another pound! I'm feeling really good right now, the weather is warmer, I'm losing the weight and gaining energy. Woohoo!
Unfortunately, I didn't get to do any fun new exercise activities this week. I was really hoping to get in some tennis but they still haven't put the nets up. I hope they do soon, I want to play! Nutrisystem recommends at least three daily exercise activities that are ten minutes long each. This week, I've pretty much kept to my usual routine of using my elliptical (that machine is a killer!) and playing some Wii. I can't get enough of Wii Tennis, it's probably my favorite game. I've gone through Nutrisystem's recommended activities and I've picked out a few things I think my kids would enjoy too, so hopefully we can get some fun activities in next week and over the weekend.
My new order of Nutrisystem arrived this week and I am super excited. I absolutely LOVE the Ravioli Formaggio and could eat it every day. Every month I try to order at least one new Nutrisystem meal but this month I stuck with my favorites. In fact, I'm already looking forward to lunch, three cheese chicken! This is my favorite lunch item and I always order a ton. What I love most about the Nutrisystem menu plan is that not only does it come in the right portion size, but it is also healthy for me to eat since I have diabetes. They have a menu plan just for those of us with the disease and it still tastes great! I'm excited for the warmer weather to come so I can sit outside in the fresh air and enjoy all the delicious frozen desserts.
So what's my goal for next week?
Next week I am aiming for another pound. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be able to get my two crazy kids outside to chase them around.
