This week has been a bad week. I've gained a pound. Honestly, I'm a little surprised that it is just a pound. Sunday we had a family dinner and I ate what was served. While I didn't exactly pig out, I probably ate a little more than I should have. Also, my laptop crashed (again). This happened a month ago and we had to update the operating system. Thankfully, we were able to save all of my information that time. This time though, I wasn't so lucky. So for the past four days I have spent more than enough time trying to set up my new laptop and save files from my old one. This is an incredibly frustrating process as I have to manually go through every file on the old hard drive to dig out five years worth of information. So as you can suspect, noting else has really been done.
Exercise:
Nutrisystem recommends at least three daily activities that are ten minutes long each. Unfortunately, this just isn't my week. I was lucky to get in just a few minutes on the elliptical each day. Lack of exercise, stress and real food are not a good combination. All I can tell myself is that I will do better this week and it's ok to have a bad week. But now I need to make up for that extra pound. Starting next Monday, I am going to start walking while my kids are in school. Not only will this be part of my exercise, but I think the fresh air and sun will also boost my spirits. I've also found some other fun activities listed on the Nutrisystem exercise guide that I am hoping to start doing on weekends with the family. Tennis, anyone?
Food:
No new foods to share with you this week. I've mostly been sticking to my old favorites and am waiting on my new order to arrive. I have been craving the Ravioli Formaggio and I can't wait for it to be here.
So what's my goal for next week?
I think I'm still going to aim to lose one pound this coming week. I'm going to do my best to get outside and walk and also to get more time in on the elliptical. Here's hoping for a better week!
