Welcome to Week 30 of Weigh Me Wednesday: My Journey with Nutrisystem! As a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program member, I am on the Women's Diabetes Select Program!
I'm not sure how, but it looks as if I've lost a week. I don't know where it went or how it got a away from me, but disappear it did. My weight loss this week is a big old goose egg. It has been raining every day and I haven't been able to get outside for any exercise. I also have a hard time getting motivated when the weather is poor, so I didn't force myself to move as much as I would have liked. I know, I *need* to get better at this!
Exercise:
Like I said, the past two weeks have not been kind. Nutrisystem recommends at least three daily exercise activities that are ten minutes long each. Lately I've been lucky to get in two. All we've had is rain, rain, rain. Thankfully though, it looks like the weather is finally picking up. I'll be taking the kids to the park later today and while they swing and slide, I will be walking laps around their small track. We are also headed over to a BBQ this weekends where hopefully we can get in some badminton time and some swimming. I plan on swimming as much as possible this year.
Food:
Lately I've found myself more than a little obsessed with Nutrisystem's chicken noodle soup. It is sooooo good. I don't know why I don't order more of these because I always seem to run out quickly. You can bet that I'll be doubling up on my next order though! I love to alternate between these and the three cheese chicken, which is my favorite lunch item.
For dessert, I've been enjoying Nutrisystem's popcorn. I'm actually not much of a popcorn fan, but this is too good to pass up. I'm not sure what kind of seasoning they use, but it is some of the best popcorn I have ever had. Not only is it delicious, but the serving size is huge! These are perfect for after dinner snacks while watching my shows. Yum!
Besides Nutrisystem's delicious food, I love that I know I am getting the right nutrients and serving sizes designed just for me. Having diabetes, I am always on guard with what I eat and how much. Nutrisystem makes this super easy for me, all I have to do is open the package and cook the food. No more worrying. This leaves more time for me to take care of my family and to focus on exercise. Nobody likes to count calories, and with Nutrisystem, you don't have to.
So what's my goal for next week?
I'm aiming for another pound. I'm taking this one step at a time and working steadily towards my goal!
