Welcome to Week 28 of Weigh Me Wednesday: My Journey with Nutrisystem! As a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program member, I am on the Women's Diabetes Select Program!
Another week has come and gone and man am I exhausted! I may be super tired, but I am also excited that I lost 1.5 pounds!
Exercise:
Like I said in last week's post, my son took part in the Special Olympics this past weekend. For two days, we did nothing but walk walk walk. We got to the location at about 8:30am on Friday morning and left at about 3pm in the afternoon. 85% of that time was spent walking around or standing to watch events. Then Saturday we got there again at 8:30 and even though my son's last event was scheduled for 11am, they were running late as usual. We didn't end up getting home until about 2:30. Again, we spent much of that time walking back and forth waiting for events. Nutrisystem recommends at least three daily exercise activities that are ten minutes long each. I definitely got in my three plus more!
Now you'd think that after those two crazy long days that I would be too tired to move, right? Well, instead of spending Sunday sitting around ruining all the work I had done, I went swimming! I spent three solid hours in the pool swimming and racing my kids. I worked my butt off! I'm excited that the warmer weather is finally here so I can swim as much as possible. Swimming is an excellent workout and one of my favorite daily three activities.
Food:
I received a new food order recently and with new orders comes new foods to try out. Sadly, I don't get to choose my own frozen meals so I never know for sure what is coming. I received a few new foods to try this month and one I really enjoyed was:
Was this my favorite? No, but it's still pretty delicious! The best thing about Nutrisystem food is that it takes only minutes to prepare and it still tastes great! I don't have to worry about my diabetes or portion control either because Nutrisystem does all of that for me too. It's just awesome!
So what's my goal for next week?
Another pound it is! I don't think I'll be getting any swimming in due to the lack of good weather we are supposed to have headed our way, but maybe it will be warm enough for tennis :)
Remember to stop by next week for Week 29's results!
