As you can see, I had another successful trip to the local Goodwills. I also came across the very last copy of Insurgent tonight at Walmart, yay! I was very lucky in wins again this week and I am truly thankful to all the bloggers and authors who provided me with these wins and also the review copies :) I also want to say a HUGE thank you to Michelle at Another Look Book Reviews for hosting an absolutely AMAZING giveaway this past week where I won a $50 gift card to Amazon. Michelle, you rock! I'm still debating on what to buy with it, so many good books to choose from!
A quick little note: I also want to say Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there! Instead of celebrating today, our whole family has gone to cheer on my son who is participating for the first time in The Special Olympics! It's going to be a great day and so much fun! Then later on we are going to cheer on my brother and father in the championship game for their flag football league. So all around it is going to be a great day. Because of this, I won't be able to respond to comments right away. But please be sure to leave me a link to your Showcase Sunday and I'll be sure to stop by as soon as I get home!!
It looks like you had an EXCELLENT book week!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to you! I hope you and your family had a lot of fun at the Special Olympics.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a great week! I have only read Wicked out of the whole pile- but I really enjoyed it. I do like books that take a familiar story and tell it from another perspective. It really made me think. Congratulations on all the wins!
~Jess
That's a fair old haul there.
ReplyDeleteI hope you like Wicked.
