Welcome to the final Weigh Me Wednesday: My Journey with Nutrisystem! As a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program member, I am on the Women's Diabetes Select Program!
Well it's said that all good things must come to an end and it is true. My time on Nutrisystem is finished and it's time to put my weigh loss goals to work in the real world. I haven't decided which route I am going to go yet when it comes to diet, but for now I am just going to continue to eat small, healthy portions and exercise daily. I'm hoping to get a gym membership in a few weeks when the kids are back in school so I can spend a few hours there each week and get in more exercise. I can only do my elliptical so much without getting tired of it. Plus, it is a killer!
Exercise:
Over the course of my Nutrisystem journey, I have tried many different exercises to keep things fresh and keep my motivation up. I've done the elliptical, walked, played tennis and badminton, and I've done a lot of swimming. I hope to continue these as much as possible as well as add in a few more. I've also done a lot of Wii playing. I highly recommend the Wii for indoor exercise, especially Wii Fit Plus and the Just Dance games. Those get you moving like no other. Nutrisystem recommends at least three daily exercise activities that are at least ten minutes long each. I'm going to continue following their guidelines and get in those daily threes as much as possible.
Food:
Having diabetes, the best part about the Nutrisystem menu was that the food comes prepackaged and prepared for you. All you have to do is heat it up. I didn't have to worry about sugar or portion control because that was already managed for me. Like I said before, I don't know what diet plan I am going to follow now but I am going to do my best to continue to eat healthy and maintain good portion control to keep my diabetes managed. I can't deny that I am going to miss a lot of the Nutrisystem meals, especially the three cheese creamy chicken and ravioli formaggio. They are absolutely delicious.
Final Weigh Loss Results:
25.5 pounds!!!
So what's my goal from this point on?
I am going to continue my exercise routine and keep eating healthy. That's the best I can do and hopefully I will continue to see results!
Special Thanks:
I want to say a special thank you to Nutrisystem and Meredith Bandy for their continued support throughout my journey as well as the opportunity to take it. I am feeling so much healthier and better about myself than I was when I first started and I owe them a lot. Thank you!!!

I do struggle with weight loss. I like that with Nutrisystem the meals are already prepared so it's easy and I can't eat too much as it's pre-portioned.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to find anything that works for me. Hopefully 5 days of this will work and let me know I can do this.
ReplyDeleteI still struggle and want to try this for portion control \
