Something about this book just screams at me to read it. I love crime. I don't mean that I want it to happen, but I love solving mysteries and murders and I am pretty obsessed with the Investigation Discovery channel. I even went to school for Criminal Justice because it just fascinates me. But as a parent, the thought of one of my children being kidnapped or harmed keeps me up at night. Many nights. So I can definitely relate to Patty here and I think I would also do what she is doing. How could you not? My heart aches for this poor, fictional woman and I haven't even read her story yet. I'll be picking this one up as soon as possible and bumping it up to the top of my reading list.
