Yep, that's what I look like when I'm trying to do anything on my computer other than browsing the internet. Sure, I can manage some things, but nothing fancy. I am in serious need of some help. Actually, I am in serious need of a blog makeover and need your help to do it. Unfortunately, I'm a poor girl and can't afford to be paying the crazy amounts that people want in order to do makeovers. I can't help but get jealous and drool over all your pretty blogs and I just want to get mine up to date. Could someone please, pretty-pretty-please, send me in the direction of some free website where I can mess around and make one of those lovely headers with the avatars in whatever position you like and all that jazz? Seriously, I've tried looking and I can't even figure that out.
I would be forever grateful for any hints you can send my way. Thank you my lovelies, you rock :)
For the most part, from what I've seen, designers will draw the avatar and then scan it, and finally, edit it with Photoshop. I don't know if you're artistic, but you could try that.
ReplyDeleteAlso, you can look at digital scrap-booking kits. They're almost always less than $10 and you can make a header out of that really easily!
Nope, no artistic skills here but thankfully my husband is an artist :) The bigger problem is installing fancy new things without completely ruining the page lol.
DeleteYou might want to look at free design software (GIMP is the most famous) or perhaps an online "photoshop" that are flash websites that imitate editing software.
