Welcome to Showcase Sunday, hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea. The aim of this event is to showcase our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed form the libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders this week. As you can see, I will no longer be participating in In My Mailbox due to the recent controversy. I'm not going to waste your time with it since I'm sure you have read about it all over the place, but I do just want to say that I am very, very disappointed in that particular blogger. Her site was one of my favorites and I'm sad to see what it has come to. Anyway, I've decided to start participating in Books, Biscuits. and Tea's new Sunday meme, Showcase Sunday!
Bought:
As you can see, I had quite the successful shopping week. I picked up three new releases that I've been anxious to read along with some other good looking books from Goodwill. The only problem with having a million books and having two Goodwills nearby is that I sometimes forget what books I already have. Once again I picked up a few duplicates. Bad for me, good for you since a few will probably be making their way into the box of books that I'm sending out to one lucky winner :)
For Review:
I am incredibly excited to have the chance to review this book. It looks like a book I would rush out to buy on release day and when I was asked to participate in a blog tour I jumped at the chance. I can't wait to sit down with it!!

The Homecoming of Samuel Lake by Jenny Wingfield - Thank you Random House!!!
Three Times Lucky by Sheila Turnage - Thank you Penguin!

I was expecting three ARCs and instead the publisher sent me three brand spankin' new hardcovers! I did a seriously embarrassing happy dance when this came!
It has been an amazing week for books both read and received. I am incredibly thankful to all the wonderful authors, bloggers and publishers listed above that sent me these amazing goodies. I am also pretty thankful to my husband who works harder than anyone I know and doesn't say a word when I hit up three different bookstores and spend a little too much of his hard earned paycheck :)
What came for you this week? Leave me a link in the comments and I'll be sure to stop by and check it out!
