In My Mailbox is a weekly meme created and hosted by The Story Siren where bloggers share would books they have gathered over the week.
This was an awesome week of books for me. In fact, it was so awesome that I can't even post all of my finds at once because I fear that would just be too much awesome for you to handle. So I have decided to divide my goodies up between this week's IMM and next week's. So, what did I get?
Bought:
I hit up the local Goodwills this week because they always have a ton of books for really cheap (I'm talking 99 cents here people, go check them out!) and I always find a ton that I want to read. I love buying books almost as much as I love reading them, which is probably why for every one book I read that another three take it's place. I have an addiction, but at least it is a good addiction! Anyway, this is what I got:
Whew! Those were just the hardcovers I bought this week. I'll do the paperbacks in the next IMM.
Traded for:
This was a slow week for trades, but I did get this bit of awesomeness from Swap.com:
Now I just need to get my hands on The Iron Daughter and The Iron Knight and I will have the whole series and can finally start reading them!
Well, that's it for now. Don't forget to come back again for next week's IMM and check out the rest of my finds :)
Oh what a lovely background. I like your header. Got some really interesting books. Some of these I hadn't heard of. A lot of people like the Julie Kagawa Series, I haven't read it yet. New follower. Come visit me over at Livre De Amour-Books of Love.
ReplyDeleteThis World We Live In!!!!! I love that book along with the entire series. Happy reading! :)

Awesome IMM! I should go visit my local Goodwill as well. I loved Along for The Ride, Something Like Faith and Waiting for you! Hope you enjoy your books. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Grace! Anji did a great job on our design. I love it! I haven't read the Kagawa series either but everyone is talking about it so I hope it lives up to the hype.
ReplyDeleteI haven't started the This World We Live In series either, only more book to get before I can start! It looks awesome though :)
I definitely recommend checking out your Goodwill, Sagacity! I try to go once or twice a month because the books are so cheap and there is always a ton of good ones. I just went again today and picked up a few more lol. Next week's IMM is going to be a big one!
Grace, thank you! I had fun with the graphics :)
ReplyDeleteI, too, have to recommend book shopping at Goodwill. It's crazy cheap and it's hard to get out of there without buying at least a few books. And that's from me who doesn't like having books hanging around the house, waiting on me and making me feel guilty that I haven't read them yet!
Next week's IMM is going to be awfully big - I have to post mine, too!
Great haul! Ive been meaning to start the Iron Fae series. I hear great things about it. Hope you like it!
