Weigh Me Wednesday: My Journey with Nutrisystem (#NSNation #ad)- Week 33

Welcome to Week 33 of Weigh Me Wednesday: My Journey with Nutrisystem! As a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program member, I am on the Women's Diabetes Select Program!

It looks like time has gotten away from me again and I have somehow missed last week's post. Honestly, this summer is getting the better of me. So I have two weeks of results to post today, and those two weeks have resulted in one and a half pounds, woohoo!

Exercise:

Over the last two weeks I have been pretty much sticking to my usual exercise routine. It's been cloudy and muggy and raining off and on. I have managed to get a couple hours of pool time a few of the days but mostly I've been sticking to the indoor activities. Nutrisystem recommends at least three daily activities that are ten minutes long each. I've been starting my days off on the elliptical machine, getting in those ten minutes (sometimes a few minutes more) early to get my heart racing and get myself motivated. Then later in the afternoon I play some Wii Fit Plus, which is always fun, and then end the day with another ten minutes on the elliptical. I'm hoping this horrible weather won't last too much longer (other than the rest of the week that it's calling for) so I can get outside for some tennis and badminton!

Food:

Today I am starting my last month of Nutrisystem. I'm so thankful to have been on this program and a little sad to see it coming to an end. For my last month, I ordered all of my favorite items. For this week, I've had the chocolate protein shake and cinnamon streusel muffin for breakfast, three cheese creamy chicken for lunch and chicken pot pie for dinner. I'm mostly looking forward to the Nutrisystem frozen meals, especially the stuffed shells and ravioli. I love Nutrisystem's menu! Not only does it taste good, but it is good for you too. With diabetes, I am constantly on guard with what I eat. With Nutrisystem, I don't have to worry about anything. The meals come prepared specially made for me with the right amount of nutrients and serving size so I am always getting exactly what I need. It's going to be so hard going back to preparing my own food after my program ends!

So what's my goal for next week?

One pound! I'm working on a steady loss here!

Remember to stop by next week for Week 34's results!

Huge thanks to Meredith Bandy and Nutrisystem for giving me the opportunity to take part in their program!
