Welcome to Showcase Sunday, hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea. The aim of this event is to showcase our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed form the libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders this week. I've read six of Elizabeth Scott's books and enjoyed each one. I am excited to read Miracle and hope I enjoy it just as much. As for Gone Girl, everyone is raving about it so I had to go get my hands on a copy. I think it will be my next read, so I hope it lives up to the hype!
Won:
Huge thanks to Amy at A Simple Love of Reading! I just recently read my first Jennifer Echols book (Such A Rush) and fell completely in love. I'm so anxious to read the rest of her books!
Biggest thanks to the lovely ladies at Chick Lit is Not Dead. I read Catherine's first book, Spin, about two years ago and was blown away. I've been waiting two years for Arranged to be released in the US so I could finally read it. I am beyond thrilled to finally have it in my little hands. You have no idea how much this pleases me :)
If you've never read a book by Karen White, you're missing out! She is amazing. I can't thank Cheryl at The Book Loving Busy Mom's Daily enough for not only bringing Karen's new book to my attention but for also hosting this fantastic giveaway in which I won a copy. Thank you, Cheryl!!!
Thank you so much to Karen (Bingo) at Bookin' With Bingo for this awesome giveaway! I love a good drama between friends and this one sounds very promising! And if you want to get your hands on it too, now is your chance! There is a giveaway for ten copies on Goodreads that is ending tonight!!! Just click on the cover to be taken to the description and giveaway. Good luck!
Of all the books I've received this week, this is my favorite. I have been wanting to read this since first reading about it months ago. It looks freakin' fantastic! I am also quite in love with the cover. Massive thanks and a million virtual hugs to Emily Hainsworth herself for sending me this gorgeous (signed!!!) ARC! I don't think I could have made it till October for it to be released :)
As always, I am incredibly thankful to all the bloggers, authors and publishers who provided me with these awesome reads this week. I truly appreciate each of you! Without you, I'd be a very sad and bookless girl.
What came for you this week? Did you finally get that book you've been dying to read? Leave me a link in the comments and I'll be sure to check it out!
Wow that cover for Through to You sure is beautiful! I'm excited to read it. I haven't read any Jennifer Echols, but she definitely is on my TBR.
