Welcome to Week 35 of Weigh Me Wednesday: My Journey with Nutrisystem! As a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program member, I am on the Women's Diabetes Select Program!
Once again it appears as if I have lost another week of time. I think this summer is getting the best of me. I think it's finally the end of the week and then I look at the calender and a whole other week has passed by and I didn't even realize it. My days are starting to blend in together. Now that my son no longer has summer school I'm afraid time will become even less apparent. There will be no need to remember what day it is and all that fun stuff. I'm a little worried for my sanity.
Exercise:
Anyway, I hate to report that there is no weight loss this week. What started out well with lots of activities (including five hours of swimming time!) quickly dwindled down to nothing these last two days. Monday I started feeling a little under the weather and by Tuesday morning I had a full blown migraine. I barely made it up to get my son on the bus for school, doing so only because I knew it was the last week, then went straight back to bed. I then somehow managed to get up to get him off the bus, promptly going back to bed as soon as he was home. I spent most of the day in bed but finally started to feel better in the afternoon.
I'm finally feeling about 90% today though so I am back at those Nutrisystem recommended daily activities. I've done my morning run on the elliptical and will be challenging the boy to some Wii when he gets home shortly. Nutrisystem recommends at least three activities every day that are ten minutes long. As much as I prefer going outside for my activities, it isn't in the cards this week. I'm so thankful for my elliptical machine to keep me going on days like these. Staying active is an extremely important part of the Nutrisystem program and for helping keep my diabetes under control.
Food:
This week I've been enjoying the last of my Nutrisystem frozen meals. I am going to be so sorry to see them go, especially the stuffed chicken. It is so delicious! Having Nutrisystem has been an absolute blessing and I haven't felt so healthy in a long, long time. It's very hard for me to manage my diabetes, especially when it comes to cooking meals that are both healthy and great tasting. I don't have to worry about that with Nutrisystem. With the diabetes program, I know that the food I am eating is exactly the right combination of nutrients I need and the right portion size too. I'm not sure what I'm going to do after my program ends, but I am determined to keep up the healthy living!
So what's my goal for next week?
I'm aiming for another pound!
Remember to stop by next week for Week 36's results!
