First of all, sorry I am a day late posting my results for this week. Christmas is just around the corner and I have been doing some last minute frantic shopping trying to get everything done in time for our first family visit this weekend.
So I didn't lose the two pounds I was hoping to lose, but I did lose 1! Woohoo! I know it isn't a lot but like I said before, slow and steady wins the race and as long as I am making my way towards my goal weight then that is ok with me!
While I still haven't found a dinner to top the Flat bread Pizza, I did like this one. My hardest problem when deciding on meals is that I'm pretty picky. Unlike my husband who can eat just about anything, I have a very hard time finding foods that I like. Then when I do, I tend to eat them every day and after a while I don't like them anymore. So this week I made an effort to try a few of the other dinners. I think I'll be adding this one to my list :)
I've also managed to get in some great exercise this week! Monday nights are dollar bowling nights so we took the kids to play a few rounds. We played for about two hours and it was so much fun. I was a little sore later, but it was worth it. I also spent a good six hours walking the mall and other stores this week so I'm feeling pretty good!
What are my goals for next week?
This coming weekend might be a bit of a struggle for me since we are having three separate Christmas dinners, but I am going to do my best to limit myself and make good choices. I'm also going to throw in some extra exercises to work it off. My children are also on vacation so I'm hoping to challenge them to some extra Wii Fit Plus time and some Just Dance! I've decided that I no longer care if I look like a fool playing the dance games, the reward is worth it. I'm making my goal for the next week to lose at least two more pounds!
I'd also like to thank everyone who left me encouraging words last week. You have no idea how much it means to me to have a support system for those times where I may not achieve as much as I'd have liked.
I'm so thankful to be on this Nutrisystem program. While my weight is a big concern for me, my diabetes is an even bigger one. I want to be here for my children as long as possible and I know that Nutrisystem can help me reach my goal weight as well as keep my diabetes under control.
Remember to stop by next Wednesday for Week Three's results!
Huge thanks to Meredith Bandy and Nutrisystem for giving me the opportunity to take part in their program!

Gold's Gym Cardio Workout for the Wii is a fun game to workout with. It's mostly punching and rocking back and forth, but it provides some variety to my workout routine. You could probably find it used at game stores.
Gosh, some of those meals sound great! I have had a friend have some success with Nutrisystem as well. Congrats on losing a pound! It's A LOT harder than it sounds :)
