Welcome to week 2 of Weigh Me Wednesday: My Journey with Nurtrisystem! As a Nutrisytem Nation Blogger Program member, I am on the Women's Diabetes Select Program!
So unfortunately, week three was not as successful as my first two weeks. I gained a pound. Honestly, I'm a little surprised that it was just a pound because it had been a very bad week. My body is still struggling to adjust to my new medication which made me sick and threw my whole schedule way off. I was spending most of the day in bed just trying to find some relief. So that meant I wasn't able to do any of my Daily 3 exercises. Bummer! I'm finally starting to feel better though and so far this week I've managed to keep the sickness away. I've even done my exercising, woohoo! So I am expecting much better results for week four.
Living with Diabetes is a daily struggle. I love that Nutrisystem has a special program just for those of us with the disease which helps us reach our goal: beating it! Type II Diabetes is a curable disease and I know that Nutrisystem is going to help me beat it. With the right food and exercise routine, I will be able to lose the weight and send the diabetes packing.
So let's talk about my favorite food item this week!
Again, I'm sorry that this is not my own personal picture, I just can't seem to remember to take them. Probably because this bagel is SO GOOD that I just want to eat it immediately :) Honestly, this has become my favorite breakfast item. I ordered as many of these as I could because they are just so delicious. You would never know that this was a healthy bagel! I eat this in the morning with my Creamy Chocolate Protein Shake which is also pretty tasty. As soon as my kids are off to school, you can find me sitting in my office with my shake and bagel just enjoying every last bit. YUM!
What are my goals for next week?
Good luck! I've got my fingers crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!! Remember, your weight lose will fluctuate with your monthly cycle, so some weeks you have to factor in water retention and also remember water weighs more than fat. So while the scales say up a pound, it may not be an actual fat gain.
ReplyDeleteI've been on a very low-cal diet plan since the end of August (and have lost nearly 60lbs!) I see the fluctuation of 2-4 pounds throughout the month even though I'm keeping it fairly tight around 700 cals a day. Once the water flushes out, those few extra pounds drop off and I do my happy dance.
As long as YOU know you're eating properly and healthily and you're getting a minimum amount of excercise per week, don't let the number on the scales bother you. You're changing your life one day at a time by doing this. YOU CAN DO IT!!
Thank you so much Lynne! 60 pounds, that is incredible! I am so happy for you! Thank you so much for the pep talk, whenever I am feeling the struggle I will come back and read your comment to keep me motivated :)
