These first two piles are all the goodies I found at Goodwill this week. We have two within twenty minutes of me and I had visited one last week so I figured I'd hit up the other this week. I found a few there and wasn't planning on going back to the other one but since my mom had come along and hadn't been to it in a while, she asked if we could go to that one too. Well I'm definitely glad I did! I don't know who it is, but somebody keeps bringing in their recent release reads and I have been lucky enough to pick them up. Seriously, only $3 for Lone Wolf! This is why I love Goodwill. Oh yes, and I know it has nothing to do with books but my daughter also came across the best thing we have found at Goodwill so far: the complete first season of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends! This is a huge house favorite and my favorite cartoon ever and I couldn't believe our luck. We had just been talking about how we needed to get the series on DVD. And it was only $3!
Wow, I just realized that I picked up two of Jeannine Garsee's books this week. And on completely different shopping trips! Yesterday, my husband dragged me along to the comic book store and I was forced to endure dork talk for several minutes. Because of this, I was able to talk my way into picking up those eight beauties above. I probably shouldn't have gotten so many but I just couldn't decide which ones to get and which to wait on. I just have to remember: it could have been worse! There were so many other books that I had to pass on, but they will be mine one day :)

For Review:
Baby Daddy by S. Newman Spenzer - Thank you, S. Newman Spenzer!
With the exception of Baby Daddy, I received all of these books from BookSparksPR for review during their 2012 Summer Reading Challenge. As soon as I heard about this challenge, I knew I had to sign up. Each book on the challenge was already on my reading list and the fact that they were going to provide book bloggers with review copies was just absolutely amazing. I think there is still time to sign up for the challenge, so be sure to check it out! You can find the sign up information HERE.
As always, I want to thank everyone who made this exceptional Showcase Sunday possible. The bloggers, authors, publishers and even my dear husband. I am truly thankful!
What came for you this week? Leave me a link in the comments and I'll come check it out!

WOW! Fara too the words right out of my mouth. That is one healthy haul. The Goodwill where I live is the worst. The books are never really that good so I barely go there.
ReplyDeleteMy Showcase Sunday
Cool list and a lot of books. I'm only familiar with a couple but The Unquiet should be solid. Enjoy your busy reading week Tiffany!
