Up first is my paperback bookcase. These are all of the paperbacks that I have bought/traded for/received as gifts that I haven't read yet. I do most of my book shopping at Goodwill where a book only costs 99 cents, that is why there are so many. For every one book I read, another five or six make their way into my house lol.
Complete shelf:
Top half:
Bottom half:
Next up is my read/hardcover/for trade shelves. Everything on top of the bookcase and the shelves above it have been read.
Right part of books I've read:
Middle part of books I've read:
Left part of books I've read: (notice my pretty flowers? the hubby surprised me with them tonight, awww )
Left side hardcovers not yet read:
Right side hardcovers not yet read:
Middle rows: The top row is my trade items waiting to find new homes. The bottom shelf is all my Stephen King hardcovers, mostly read, and more hardcovers not yet read.
Mass Market paperbacks: Most of these are true crime and read. You can't tell from the picture, but there are three rows back of books and two rows on the side. There are a TON of these. They used to have their own bookcase, but I had to do some rearranging.
Last up are my books I've won bookcases. I enter a lot of giveaways, and I mean a lot. I don't know why I continue to buy books when I always win them, but I just can't help myself. It's an addiction. I'm sure you understand. Anyway, over the last few years I have been extremely lucky in book giveaways and gift card giveaways to buy books. I can't read these fast enough, so they are starting to pile up.
The right side is all the hardcovers, plus some paperbacks:
And finally, the left side is all paperbacks, with some audio books thrown in:
Well there ya go. Thems theres my books :) I didn't take pictures of the children's books we have though. Will I ever read all of these books? Probably not. Not unless I read two or three a week for the next ten years without buying a new one. But I am a mood reader and I like having a variety to choose from when I pick up a new book. I never know what I am going to read next!
