Whew! I hope you guys don't mind that I took the quick road here and just took pictures of everything instead of linking up each individual book cover. This post still took me over an hour to put together. I hope it seems like a lot, but this post is everything I received in the last two weeks. I missed last week's Showcase Sunday because I was off with my husband and kicks at an amusement park, woohoo!

My first picture up there of all the books I bought is a little deceiving. I was actually quite lucky and scored most of them on Amazon through their bargain book sale and got seven of them for about $30. I bought Half Lives at my local B&N because, well, I ad to run to Kohl's next door and since nobody was with me there wasn't anyone to stop me from getting a book too. Ha! That will teach the husband to let me shop alone.

Last weekend I also went to my first book signing! The authors were Kit Grindstaff, Erin Bowman, Rachele Alpine, Justina Ireland, Elizabeth Dahl, Mindy Raf, and Alex Lidell. It was pretty awesome! Unfortunately though, I could only afford two books so I bought Kit and Erin's. I also totally drooled to Erin about her gorgeous cover. I don't even care if I looked like an idiot, it was worth it. I also was able to get these two books signed, woohoo!

A lot of my book winnings have also been finally starting to show up at my door. I honestly was starting to think that the post office was keeping them for themselves. I have also been pretty lucky with the Amazon winnings too which is how I bought most of those books up above. I've already spent the gift cards shown above but the books haven't come yet. They will be in next week's post though. I was even kind enough to buy the husband a graphic novel that he has been wanting. Aren't I kind?

Anyway, I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to all of the bloggers, authors and publishers who have provided me with these extremely awesome goodies. You guys, seriously, I'd be at a total loss without you.

Now enough about me, what about you? Have you gotten some sweet goodies lately? Link me up and let me see!

  1. Whew! That's quite a haul. How do you score so many newly release/not yet released books for review? I always end up with books by indie authors to review, which is fine, but then I get behind in all the other stuff I want to read. Do you just write to publishing companies and ask?
