Big thanks to The Book Pixie and Egmont USA!

Another small week here, but that's ok! It would have been a bigger week, but it was not meant to be. Yesterday I took a ride up to the local Barnes & Noble to see if I could find a copy of Requiem on their shelves but no luck. So I came home, called Target, and what do you know? They said they had two copies and would put one on hold for me. I rushed over there, so excited. We shopped around for a little bit, all while I clutched the book for dear life, before we checked out. And guess what? THEY WOULDN'T SELL ME THE BOOK!!!! Every time they tried to ring it up, the register said "You cannot sell this book until 3/5!" Man was I bummed! I wanted nothing more to come home and read all night long to see just how one of my favorite series was going to end. But alas, I must wait until Tuesday.

Anyway, I'm still super excited to have won these books, all of which have been sitting on my wish list for months. I hope I am able to read them soon!

What about you? What came for you this week? You know the drill, leave me a link and I'll come check it out!

  1. Wow, that is SO lame about them not selling you Requiem! I mean, they had it RIGHT THERE! But Tuesday is just around the corner! :)

  2. oh man! Confessions of an Angry Girl is awesome! I loved it, hope you do too
as for the whole not selling it.. this is why technology sucks! at times like this you wish it was all done manually so you could buy it straightaway!
