Welcome to Showcase Sunday, hosted by Books, Biscuits and Tea. The aim of this event is to showcase our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed form the libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders this week. I once again got a little lucky at the local Goodwill. I only went to one though, so I have smaller lot than I usually do. Perhaps I will go to the other one this weekend and see what gems I can find there :)
Won:
Won from LibraryThing. I read the first book, Me & Emma, last year and although I was a little bummed with it, I still want to see how the story progresses with this next book. Hopefully I will enjoy it more than the last.
Huge thanks to Rebecca Behrens for her awesome BEA giveaway! I can't wait to start on this :)
Massive thanks to Sarah at Catching Books! I've seen great things about this one and I just love this cover. Thank you, Sarah, and congrats again on graduating!!!
I won this from Deborah herself on her Facebook page. Her giveaway rules were to describe your relationship in three adjectives, my use of the word "smelly" won me a copy :) Thank you again, Deborah!
Thank you to Penguin Books for your awesome BEA giveaways. I managed to snag a few, including this one!
As always, extra thanks to the bloggers, authors and publishers who have provided me with these goodies. You rock!!! What about you? What came for you this week? Leave me a link in the comments and I'll stop by and check it out :)
All The Numbers looks really good! It actually sounds a little bit like a book I read this week (Reservation Road) - I think I'll add it to my wishlist. Thanks for the recommendation and I hope you'll love your books :) x
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of any of these books, so I look forward to seeing your thoughts on "All The Numbers", "Laura Lamont's Life In Pictures" and "False Memory".
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your reads.
