It's time for the Day 2 Challenges from the Once Upon a Read-a-Thon!
Today's challenge is brought to us by Better Read Than Dead:
Q. You're in a bookstore and you've just purchased 5 books you've been dying to read, when the apocalypse hits. (Zombie, Demons, Vampires, Dean Winchester vs. Sam Winchester (yes, I'm watching Supernatural reruns) I don't care what apocalypse). You've got one chance at survival, what 2 books do you take and what 3 other items do you take?
Hmm, good question! First book I'm taking is Zompoc: How to Survive A Zombie Apocalypse. This book will tell me everything I need to know. But in case that isn't enough, I'm also taking The Zombie Survival Guide. Better to be prepared, right?
As for the other three items, first I'm scoring a very pointy bookmark/letter opener. Preferably a heavy one, made of steal. I'm gonna need protection! Next up, a map! I'm sure I could find a decent map around here somewhere to help me get somewhere safe. Lastly, I'm gonna swipe a thick, canvas tote bag to carry my newly acquired items in! It won't rip like plastic and it won't make too much noise either :)
Ahhhh I like the way you think my friend! I hope we happen to be in the same bookstore. LOLI think we could survive!
