Well as you can see, this week kinda sucked. I'm beginning to think that the mailman is hoarding my stuff. he didn't bring me one book this week. I know I have a couple things on the way, so hopefully they will make it here soon. I was so depressed watching him walk by my house without leaving me a gift. Maybe everything will flood in next week! Big thanks to my mom for surprising me with this book. Like I said before, it's impossible to go to any store that sells books with my mom without walking out with a new one. I did talk her into buying The Immortal Rules too, which she is liking :)

I have only read one Sarah Dessen book but I loved it. She is such an amazing writer :) I hope you enjoy it!

ReplyDeleteI already read What Happened to Goodbye and it was pretty decent. Not my favorite Dessen book but it was enjoyable. Hope you enjoy it too!

ReplyDeleteI so know what you mean by a slow week book-wise. I didn't get anything this past week. Sometimes I'll get 2 books in one day and other days... It's feast or famine.
We're on an extended visit with my parents and even they had gotten used to my receiving books. Just the other day, both my dad and my daughter(she LOVES opening packages) were asking about my dry spell.
It's very depressing when the mailbox yields nothing. Now I have to wait hours until the next delivery. And pretty soon, there will be no Saturday delivery :(
Sarah Dessen's books are everywhere but I've only read one of them. Your mom's great for giving you nice gifts!It's mother's day on sunday, maybe you should give her one too! :)
ReplyDeleteMy sister keeps telling me to read some Sarah Dessen and I own two of her books but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. My week was rather dull as well, as I only read World War Z by Max Brooks. I did receive a copy of 'The 5th Wave' by Rick Yancey in the mail, though, and am currently reading it. :)
