Weigh Me Wednesday: My Journey with Nutrisystem (#NSNation #spon)- Week 16

Welcome to Week 16 of Weigh Me Wednesday: My Journey with Nutrisystem! As a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program member, I am on the Women's Diabetes Select Program!

I have a lot to show you today, so let's just get right into it! I lost half a pound this week. Not the full pound I was looking for, but half is better than none, and way better than a gain. See how I'm keeping a positive spin on it?

Exercise:

For exercise this week, I got in something new: a lot of walking. I went on a field trip with my son's class yesterday to a museum. It isn't one big building, but actually a few smaller ones. Each building, or house actually, was built in the 1700s and holds artifacts pertaining to that time. Each building has a different purpose and different things to learn. We spent the day walking from each building to the other and then spent a lot of that time standing and listening. I can't tell you how much pain my poor feet were in last night! But still, I'm glad I went, and so was my son. I'm counting it as kind of a warm up session for a walking routine that I hope to start very soon. The weather has been gorgeous for the last two days and I'm hoping that it stays that way. Nutrisystem recommends at least three daily fitness activities that are ten minutes long each. I'd love to get in two, if not all three, of my activities outside. I'm dying for some fresh air and sunlight. Thankfully though, Nutrisystem has a nice list of other activities that I can do inside to make sure I'm getting all the exercise I need.

Food:

As promised, I have some new pictures to show you! I am absolutely LOVING the new Nutrisystem frozen meals that I hadn't had the chance to try before. My absolute favorite is the Ravioli Formaggio. Usually I am not a fan of ravioli, but oh my word this stuff is delicious! I thought I had a picture of this one, but apparently I was too excited to eat it and forgot to take one lol. But some other foods I tried are:

I couldn't decide which one of these I liked more, they were both amazingly delicious. The best part about Nutrisystem's menu is that it is safe for me to eat. being diabetic means not being able to eat all those delicious foods I want. Thankfully, Nutrisystem not only makes it possible for me to enjoy these foods, but they also prepare them in the right portion size so I know that I am getting the right amount of food and not overdoing it. I am sooooo loving the new Nutrisystem frozen dinner items, I am already looking forward to my next order LOL.

So what's my goal for next week?

I'd love to set a higher goal for next week, for maybe two pounds, but I think I am just going to aim for one pound and see if maybe I'll surprise myself. Cross your fingers we get some more great weather and I can get outside to walk!

Remember to stop by next week for Week 17's results!
