Important Announcement: I'm now a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger! #spon #NSNation

I don't usually get personal on this blog, but I think it is time that I do. I am so very excited to announce that I have been accepted to become part of the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program! 

A little background on why I decided to try the Nutrisystem program: I have two children and during each pregnancy I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. Although it originally disappeared after having my kids, I developed Type II Diabetes in 2008. Ever since, I have been struggling heavily with my weight. No matter what I did, it didn't seem to matter or make a difference. 

Then I came across the Nutrisystem blogger program. I knew I could never afford to purchase this on my own, so for the past eight months I have been working extra hard to qualify for the program. And I finally did! 

So what does this mean?

Starting now, I am strictly following the Nutrisystem diet. No more junk food, no more soda. I am going to eat the food provided to me and and exercise. I just know that this is the right thing for me to help lose this weight and possibly beat my diabetes! And look, my first month's food has arrived, yay!

After rearranging my cupboards and freezer to make space:

Weigh Me Wednesday will be my weekly status report during my weight loss journey. I will update you on how much weight I have lost for the week, any exercise I have done and also what my favorite meal was!

I can't tell you how extremely excited I am to finally be on this fitness journey. I am going to make the absolute best of my time on this program and make you all proud! I'd like to thank Meredith Bandy and Nutrisystem for giving me this opportunity!
