Teaser Tuesday (14)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This Week's Teaser is From:

Divergent
by Veronica Roth

"We walk together to the kitchen. On these mornings when my brother makes breakfast, and my father's hand skims my hair as reads the newspaper, and my mother hums as she clears the table- it is on these mornings that I feel guiltiest for wanting to leave them." page 3

  3. Interesting teaser! I have this book on my TBR mountain but haven't had a chance to read it yet. My teasers are from Future Perfect by Suzanne Brockmann and Jessica Rules the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey. Happy reading!

  5. Aw that's one of those happy/sad teasers! Kind of bittersweet I suppose. This looks like such a great book, but I've never taken the time to pick it up. Probably because my TBR pile is ginormous, like most peoples' haha! Great teaser!

Feel free to check out my teaser here.
